Each year, the Elks support our youth and returning students with a variety of scholarships at the national, state and local levels.

For example:
Elks National Foundation: Most Valuable Student Scholarship will award 500 four-year scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the 2024 competition. An additional benefit to applying to this scholarship is that it also puts you in the running for a Washington State Elks Scholarship and for our Puyallup Elks Floyd Dawson Scholarship.)
Application deadline: November 13, 2023

Legacy Awards: This scholarship is open to any child or grandchild of a living Elk who is still active in the organization.
Application deadline: February 5, 2024.

WSEA Vocational Grant: A Washington State Elks Scholarship. It is a Grant for graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue a vocational education. Due: March 1, 2024

Joseph Darimont Vocational Award: Washington State Elks Scholarship for any individual 18 years to 50 years of age who is preparing to enter or return to the workforce on a Vocational/Technical path. Award: $1,000. Due: March 1, 2024

Second Chances: A Washington State Elks Scholarship for women seeking vocational education in the State of Washington. Scholarship for up to $1,000 per quarter based on financial need. Renewable up to completion of the course based on a GPA of 3.0. Due: May 15, 2024
