There is hardly a week that goes by where your Puyallup Elks Lodge has not made a significant improvement. These may be in facilities (building, walls, plumbing, etc.) or in operations (the way the Lodge does business). All these improvements are aimed at one thing: making your Lodge a better place for you and your guests to enjoy. This week we made a major improvement in the office.
For years, the Lodge office has been cramped for space. There was never enough room to store supplies, current financial documents, and other materials. To resolve this problem, we did a bit – well, a LOT – of housekeeping in the office’s storage room.
Volunteers took 24 file cabinet drawers containing inactive Elks’ membership data dating back several decades, sorted them, packed them into 48 boxes, and archived them in a secure, dry, location elsewhere in the Lodge. The end results were that we gained valuable space to store important financial records, and we made Tina, our Accountant, very happy.
Come join us and help make improvements to our Lodge, of all kinds, big and small.
